Learning with us
Junior School wellbeing
Taking a holistic approach to learning and in cultivating the whole child.
Social emotional learning
Social and emotional competence is essential to success later in life.
It is found that children who are more socially and emotionally healthy perform better at school, have increased confidence, cultivate positive relationships, persist through challenges and communicate well. Social-emotional development is integral to our curriculum and teaching philosophy. We focus on five key skills: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationships and decision-making. We have explicitly presented Social and Emotional Educational programs to foster these skills, including Kindergarten Buddy Up, Year 1 Fun Friends, Year 2 Standing Together, Year 4 Friends for Life, and Year 5 Thinking, Feeling, Behaving.
Supporting the young
Our College also delivers the Seasons for Growth program, supporting young people to manage change and grief situations.
JS house leaders
Our JS house leaders are friendly and helpful and are here to support our young people each day at school.

Helping everyone
Standing up
Our College also offers resilience programs focusing on issues such as anxiety, bullying, personal goal setting, grief, socialisation and teamwork.
