Our Year 7 & 8 Engineering and Science team participated in the Build ME a Future challenge day on Friday 27 May. The day involved a variety of STEM activities that challenged our students to problem solve, collaborate and think critically. Some activities included designing an earthquake proof shelter, coding light communications, building a Mars Rover and constructing a bridge. Each session followed the engineering design cycle and was finalised with testing the students’ prototypes. With a few wins across the day, the MC team came third overall, but ultimately all students had fun while learning.
