FLAG WEEK 2021 – Escape To Athens With Paul!

FLAG Week (21-29 May) was an awesome week of ‘Fun Learning About God’. Our FLAG Week speaker Pastor Michaela Truscott “Mikos” arrived on the first day with three live donkeys which came right into the church! The week focused on how God loves us. Topics included: God’s love and care, how He is our friend, God wants us to be bold to share the Gospel, how Jesus died on the Cross for our sins, and how the Holy Spirit changes our heart to be more like Him.

Other highlights of the week included: mini-olympics on the oval during Thursday lunch time, amazing balloon twisting by Pastor Daron Pratt, a live pottery wheel on stage by Mrs Winch, a special sacred performance by our Junior School Vocal Group, and FLAG Week classroom activities and visits by Mikos and the Chaplaincy team.

The highlight of the week was a special altar call on Friday where students came forward and made a commitment to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Special thanks to everyone who participated to make it an awesome week of worship.

For God so loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
