Picnic dinner and telescopes, the ideal combination! Stage 1 families were lucky enough to experience perfect conditions for viewing the night sky. Thanks to Dustin (https://www.facebook.com/Dustys-Telescope-Views-of-the-Night-Sky-1918870841754428) they were able to look at craters on the moon, take a look at Sirius, the Orion Nebula, Mars and the Jewel Box and watch satellites flying by. There are so many amazing things in the sky that we don’t even realise are up there!
How amazing is our God that he has created an entire universe that we can’t even see with the naked eye. A big thank you to Year 6 student Evan who brought along his telescope to give everyone extra views of the moon.
