With any international travel out of the question, Year 11 Ancient History had to get a little creative when studying the Ancient Persian city of Persepolis, now situated in modern day Iran. Students dressed up as tourists and played tour guides for the lesson, presenting key information about the major buildings of Persepolis.
Students researched the purpose of the building, key architecture, decorations and what this revealed about life in the ancient city. A lot of learning and fun was had!
