Senior School STEM, Engineering & Technologies

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) skills are essential to tackling contemporary and future industrial, environmental and medical challenges.

Macquarie College engages students in investigative learning experiences, creative problem solving and technical innovation in our Year 9 and 10 STEM elective and through integrated STEM experiences across the Senior School curriculum. Students employ traditional and emerging technologies—including coding, engineering, and computational thinking—through project-based and team learning approaches in makerspace environments, equipping them for future opportunities.
