Year 10 Geography Excursion

Last Thursday, Year 10 Geography students visited Caves Beach and Catherine Hill Bay for their Coastal Studies.

At low tide, students ventured through the Caves in the morning observing the changing coastal landscape and taking geographical observations and measurements.

Students completed transects, quadrats, cross sections and analysed weather predictions.

In the afternoon they were involved in a case study of Catherine Hill Bay as a coastal village undergoing significant change and the consequences of those changes.

A great day was had by all.
