Extended Academic Opportunities
In partnership with our industry and institutional partners, Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of academic co-curricular opportunities such as external English, Mathematics, Science, Writing, and Computer competitions. Students may also complete courses which enhance their organisational skills, debating, public speaking and, Mock Trials. These courses all provide practical, stimulating and confidence-building opportunities.
Student Support Program
The College is at the forefront of a ‘best practice’ student-support initiative entitled, ‘Optimising the Learning Potential of Students.’ A comprehensive assessment of all students is undertaken at key points in schooling. This provides the school and parents with a comprehensive profile for each student. Moreover, it provides an informed basis upon which teachers, counsellors, chaplains, administrators, and parents can respond to the respective needs of each student in order to optimise learning potential.
Parents and teachers can review the academic and pastoral care requirements of students using real-time information via SEQTA, the College’s Learning Management System.

Career Guidance/Education
The Career Guidance program of the College places considerable emphasis on preparing and guiding students in their professional and vocational choices. As prospective leaders in the community, students are encouraged to recognise the value and dignity of work, responsibility, reliability, initiative, and enterprise.

The week-long placement with a community employer, provides students with an insight into the many and varied technical, professional service and vocational roles which support our evolving society.
