Pastoral Care

FLAG Week 2016This is a vital feature of Junior School. There are two chaplains who care for the staff and students in a variety of ways.

Each class has a lesson conducted once a week by one of the chaplains and individual or group Bible studies and discussions are available. Each Friday morning, the students of Junior School meet for a Chapel service in the campus church. This program runs for approximately forty-five minutes. Classes take turns to run the preliminaries which usually comprise a welcome, prayer, and either a presentation of work, musical items, drama, or dance. There is always a guest speaker who might tell a true-life story, a Bible story, or show a film or power-point presentation in order to illustrate or emphasise the importance of Christian values.

A special program is held annually. This is the FLAG Week (Fun Learning About God). An hour-long program is held each day for a week with special songs, activities, and a themed approach to encourage students to make a commitment to Jesus and to serve others.

In 2016, Junior School explore the life and times of God in “Nazareth: Where Jesus was a Kid”.
