Early Childhood Educator
Full-time/Part-time/Casual positions available for an ASAP start
Macquarie College (MC) Preschool is growing. We are seeking passionate, creative and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our friendly and cohesive team.

Our preschool is located on the Macquarie College campus and is an integrated part of the school.
We welcome experienced applicants with an Associate Diploma or Certificate 3 Qualification, as well as those new to the industry.

Criteria – Essential:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Early Childhood Educator within an early childhood service
- An approved Diploma in Children’s Services or Certificate 3 qualification in Children’s Services as identified by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority
- Current Working with Children Check
- Child protection qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Ability to build relationships with children, families and staff
- Experience programming for 3-5 year old children
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- A commitment to our Christian service philosophy
A demonstrated understanding of:
- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- National Regulations
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting
- Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices
Expectations:
- You will be required to work a range of shifts (8hrs).
- Regular attendance at out of hours monthly staff meetings is compulsory.
- Attendance at some of our out of hours events that support our campus and our community.
- Our service is open from 7.30am – 5.30pm for 48 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays.

Junior School Classroom Teacher – Fulltime
MC is seeking a Full-Time Junior School Classroom Teacher to become a part of our team for Term 2, on a contract basis covering Maternity Leave, with potential for extension. Term 2 spans from April 29 2024 to July 5 2024.

8. The capacity to infuse design thinking and maker space cultures into their classroom, together with the ability to work collaboratively with the school’s dedicated Design Lab teachers to ensure each student is receiving learning which aligns to the Global Competencies
