Teacher Aide (K-12) – Part-time
Macquarie College is now inviting applications for two part time K-12 Teacher Aide positions. Suitably qualified applicants with a desire to be part of a data-informed, collaborative teaching team, which is committed to supporting students to achieve their personal best, are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be required to work in partnership with classroom teachers in the implementation of approved Learning Support programs throughout the College.
- Teacher Aide Qualifications. E.g. Certificate III in Education Support or Certificate IV in Education Support or other relevant qualification.
- Experience working with students who have a disability including, but not limited to; mobility, visual impairment and/or students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- A demonstrable commitment to working in the ministry of Adventist Education as defined by the Adventist Schools Australia statement on Special Character available from the ASA website (click here)
- A current First Aid certificate and WWCC.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents/carers, the broader College community and colleagues.
- A demonstrated commitment to a high standard of personal presentation and professional practice.
- A collaborative team member and a lifelong learner.
1 x Part-time: 25 hours per week (40 school term weeks, plus 4 weeks accrued annual leave. School term break stand down applies).
1 x Part-time: 30 hours per week (40 school term weeks, plus 4 weeks accrued annual leave. School term break stand down applies).
Salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the successful applicant and as identified by the relevant enterprise agreement.
Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies.
Term of position: An initial maximum term contract will apply.

Administration Officer – Student Services (First Aid Loading) Full Time
Macquarie College invites applications from candidates who have relevant qualifications and/or experience to fill the position of Administration Officer ~ Student Services. This is a full-time temporary (contract) position with the possibility of extension.
The Administration Officer ~ Student Services provides administration and clerical assistance to the Junior School along with being a first port of call to all students (K-12) who are ill, injured or in need of general administration. They provide a professional and friendly face to students, parents and staff and are responsible for the maintenance of the student services office, first aid and sick bay as well as providing administration assistance and reception support to the main office.
The Administration Officer ~ Students Services works under the supervision and direction of the Office Manager and in co-operation with other members of the Office Administration team.
