Second College Bus

Dear Parents and Carers

The College needs to purchase a second bus in 2010 that will compliment the one purchased this year.  We can again achieve our goal with your help as evidenced by our first new bus. We need the voluntary help of staff, parents and students during the month of November.  You can help by simply volunteering a weekday or a Sunday.

We have been given the oportunity to raise money again this year through the delivering of hampers.  The process has been greatly streamlined from last year. This time we are assisting with packing the trucks with the boxes and/or delivering them around the region. You only need to turn up, instructions will be given and the job will be done.  If staff, parents and students participate, we will achieve our goal and at the same time, have some fun getting together for a common cause.

To volunteer, log on to the following website and register your commitment.  Password is wallsend   Please indicate you are associated with Macquarie College when you are registering so that your work will be credited to the College. More information is also available on the website.

Macquarie College is being given priority over other organisations to register their interest.  To get the best choice, however, it would be best to make your commitment before the school holidays. Options for dates will be more limited as time goes by.  (Other groups will be given access to the rosters next week.)

Every person can help and we thank you in anticipation for your help. Let's make this a team effort and work together to achieve the necessary funds for a second bus.
